Chroming the Master Cylinders can be a Difficult & Expensive Task to Perfect! They have to be tore down before chroming. After waiting on them to be chromed and reassembling them... if the glass is left in during the chroming process it will come out discolored. If the glass is removed and reinstalled it will leak in most cases!
